TAKE THE FIRST STEP WITH SCOTT BUNDY COUNSELLING SERVICES

ABOUT ME
Experienced Counselling Professional
My name is Scott Bundy and I am a fully qualified Counsellor based in Warfield, Bracknell. I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and work within their ethical framework.
I have experience of working with clients from a variety of ages, My early experience has been with a youth charity working with clients aged from 11 to 25 years. Since qualifying, in addition to the youth counselling I have worked with more clients aged 18 - 60 regarding issues including abuse, anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, relationships, self-esteem, self-harm, sexuality, stress and work related issues.
As well as private practice, I continue to volunteer with a youth counselling charity. I have previous experience working within a secondary school setting and facilitating animal assisted interventions. In addition, I have experience working with clients online through video, telephone and instant messaging based methods.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
I offer a no obligation 30 minute consultation online via Zoom or on the phone within which you can share with me what it is you wish to gain from therapy, ask any questions you may have and gain a sense of what it is like to talk with me.
After this, should you decide I am the right therapist for you, you can book an appointment with me in your own time. Unfortunately, at the moment I am only able to offer video call and telephone counselling sessions. In the future, I hope to return to face to face counselling, alongside online and telephone work, once the restrictions ease.
WHAT I OFFER
Person-Centred Counselling
My approach to therapy is Person-Centred. The aim of this approach is to create a safe, confidential and non-judgemental place so that I can support you in developing your own knowledge, resilience, skills and confidence.

Working in this way means that you will take the lead on what experiences, feelings or thoughts you bring into the session. I will ask questions to assist your own reflection and growth.

I can expand on my approach during an introductory session if you would like to know more about it.

SCHEDULE A SESSION
Booking an initial 30 minute Zoom/Telephone consultation does not mean that you have to commit to counselling. During this conversation I will need to take some general information about you and discuss your reasons for coming to counselling and what you hope to achieve from our work together. After this session has concluded I will send you some further information about what working together will look like. It is important to then reflect on whether you want to commit to working together. In your own time, you can let me know if you are willing to proceed with counselling.
When we begin counselling, sessions last 50 minutes and take place weekly, unless otherwise requested. As I work in a person-centred manner, it is up to you what you bring to these sessions. To reflect the financial strain that the pandemic has brought I am currently charging £35 per session (usually £45); I do have further discounted places available for NHS staff and frontline workers affected by Covid 19, as well as counselling students. Please let me know if you would like to discuss this price.

If you have any questions about the data collected during the booking process and initial sessions please see my data protection policy.
